Zac Efron makes shocking confession about iconic 'High School Musical' scene

Zac Efron made an interesting confession about High School Musical 2.

The actor recently sat down with Joey King to promote his new film. A family affair with I'm still watching Netflix in which he spoke about his iconic teen franchise.

Zac, who played Troy Bolton in all three Disney films, revealed that the iconic golf course dance from “Bet on It” was actually “a complete improvisation.”

“That was all improvisation. And we filmed, I think the whole song, in about three hours,” he said of the famous scene that premiered in 2007 and followed the characters working their summer jobs at a country club.

The “Bet on It” scene occurs amidst Troy's outburst of rage toward the film's main antagonist, Sharpay, on the club grounds.

“When we filmed that, we just had no ideas about what to do that day. Director [Kenny Ortega]“He was like, ‘Dude, we don’t have a concept for this song. What do you want to do? ’ I was like, ‘I don’t know, we’re on a golf course,’” Zac said.
