A video shared on social media shows the 36-year-old rapper, whose real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz, being led off stage after his performance, where he allegedly lit up a joint during the third day of the festival. Recreational use of cannabis is illegal in Romania and Khalifa was charged with illegal drug possession, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“The Constanţa Territorial Service has ordered the opening of criminal proceedings against the accused (US citizen), who is being investigated for the crime of illegal possession of dangerous drugs.
