Winona Ryder opens up about her experience on 'Beetlejuice 2'

After decades, Winona Ryder has returned to the Beetle juice universe and called the experience on set “sacred.”

He added: “It felt almost sacred, like some kind of blessing from above, which I think is because we share the belief that cinema can be a kind of religious experience.”

Meanwhile, Jenna Ortega, the franchise's newest member, spoke about her experience during filming, saying, “Every time I walked onto that set, I wanted to remember it for the rest of my life.” Describing a scene filmed in a church, she noted, “You've got Willem Dafoe in a trench coat, sliding into a pew in the back, just staring at everyone.”

Meanwhile, the film's director Tim Burton sees similarities between the actresses.

“Both of them, when they were young, had a very strong soul,” he continued. “They are like silent film actors.”
