Why Ryan Reynolds Chose to Show His Daughter the R-Rated Series 'Deadpool & Wolverine'

Ryan Reynolds didn't hesitate to show his 9-year-old daughter, James, his upcoming R-rated movie Deadpool and Wolverine.

Speaking to The New York Times, Reynolds revealed that he watched the film with James and his mother, who is in her 70s.

In addition to James, the YEAH The actor shares three other children, Inez and Betty, while the name of the fourth has not yet been revealed, with wife Blake Lively.

In June, the next MCU movie Deadpool and Wolverine It received an R rating from the Motion Picture Association's Classification and Rating Administration.

“Well, I'm not saying other people should do this, but my 9-year-old daughter watched the movie with me and my mom, who is in her 70s, and it was one of the highlights of this whole experience for me,” Reynolds said during the interview.

He added: “They were both laughing out loud, they were feeling the emotion where I most desperately hoped people would feel it.”

Reynolds further explained why he allowed James to watch the film: “When I watched R-rated movies as a kid, they left a huge impression on me because I didn't feel like people were pulling any punches, and it's been a huge inspiration for a lot of the things I want to do now.”

Previously, in an interview with Variety Magazine Reynolds along with Hugh Jackman and director Shawn Levy talked about bringing kids to see Deadpool and Wolverine.
