New option to allow users to create stickers within the metaproperty platform without depending on third-party applications
Staying true to its tradition of experimenting with new ideas and introducing new features or improving old ones, the popular messaging platform WhatsApp is once again launching a new feature to further improve its user experience.
The Meta-owned platform has finally introduced a sticker creation tool via the latest WhatsApp beta update for iOS 24.1.10.72 which is available to some beta testers who can access it in the TestFlight app.
The feature provides customization as it allows users to create stickers within the platform itself without the need for third-party applications, it reported. WABetaInfo.
Users now have the option to create their own custom sticker by selecting one from the conversation.
The platform launches the drawing editor when an image is chosen from the library and highlights the image’s theme automatically.
It’s important to note that users can also edit existing stickers by choosing the “Edit Stickers” action, giving them more flexibility and customization options and improving their ability to express themselves in conversations.
By choosing the share action, users can convert shared images into stickers.
With the addition of the ability to create stickers directly within WhatsApp and the ability to remove the background while editing stickers, users can now create and modify stickers easily and quickly without the need for additional software.
Some beta testers who have installed the latest beta version of WhatsApp for iOS from the TestFlight app can access the new sticker creation tool, and more users will be able to access it in the coming weeks.
