Prince William was visibly irritated at the Euro 2024 final.
The Prince of Wales, who attended his country's football match against Spain, appeared disappointed when a lip reader detected his agitated comment.
Lip reader Nicola Hinkling told the Mirror: “William wouldn't hear of it and said 'it had already been requested'.”
“As he sat down, he quietly muttered the word 'sausage.'”
This comes after William appeared a little more relaxed during England's match against Switzerland in the quarter-finals.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, body language expert Darren Stanton said: “We saw William much more relaxed than ever. During many of his engagements as Prince of Wales, William displays feelings of happiness when appropriate, but still displays a professional demeanor.
“Normally William would smile and walk with a confident stride to show his genuine delight, but this time he went one step further. It was fantastic to see a very expressive side of the Prince. Singing with the crowd, punching the air with his fist and flashing huge smiles were all examples of William expressing his raw emotions.”
