End-to-end encryption

WhatsApp for Android beta update 2.24.6.11 brings a new feature for some beta testers to indicate when their chats are end-to-end encrypted, WABetaInfo reported.

This feature was designed to make it easier for users to understand which chats are end-to-end encrypted, giving them the comfort of knowing that their conversations are securely encrypted.

WhatsApp is reportedly working on a privacy feature for Android users to decide who can use their avatar in their stickers.

This feature is in development and will be implemented with a future update.

New emojis

WhatsApp news tracker reported that WhatsApp is rolling out new emojis since the latest Unicode 15.1 version, making them available in the emoji keyboard for the Android version.

Status Updates Header

WhatsApp is reportedly rolling out a new design for the status update header. according to WABetaInfoThis feature has been designed to allow some beta testers to release status more quickly.

New sticker editor

WhatsApp users can download the latest feature to edit and create stickers in Messenger with the Android 2.24.6.5 update from the Google Play Store.

WABetaInfo called it the best feature launched this week, as users will be able to create stickers within WhatsApp without the need to download third-party applications.

Third party chats

WhatsApp is reportedly working on a chat interoperability feature to comply with new EU regulations.

Favorites

With an upcoming feature in update 2.24.6.4 for Android, users will be able to choose and manage favorites. This feature is currently in development and will be rolled out soon.
