Victoria Canal set the record straight regarding her dating rumors with Tom Cruise.
On Monday, the 25-year-old Spanish-American singer-songwriter dismissed dating rumors with Cruise when media outlets reported the news.
Channel commented on the Page six Instagram post addressing romance rumors in which she announces: “Guys I'm not dating Tom Cruise. This is crazy lol.”
Canal later took to its official social media account and addressed the speculation with a shocking reaction to the false reports.
She began her caption with, “Guys this is literally crazy but apparently the tabloids think I'm dating Tom Cruise. I'm dead. Let's just stop this already.”
Canal continued, saying, “Sorry to break the news, but I'm not dating that guy, even though he's a lovely person and an artist. Haha, I never thought I'd have to make that clear out loud in my life.”
She revealed in the caption that she was born without a right forearm or hand and sarcastically said it marks the “first time I'm the Spanish-American singer Victoria Canal and not the one-handed pianist whose name remains unmentioned. There's always a victory somewhere, thanks Tom.”
“Seriously guys, Tom has been a respectful and encouraging person, a mentor, as has Chris Martin, my father, my music teachers and other wise people who have learned a lot in life. And, I repeat, I am friends with all kinds of people who are very different from me. You learn a lot if you are open to life bringing you those teachers,” she concluded her post.
For those who don't know, Canal performed with Coldplay at the Glastonbury Festival in England in June, where Cruise was also seen.
