V of BTS enters Fanboy mode with Dodger Shohei Ohtani

V of BTS had to be the devout fanboy for once on Monday night at Dodger Stadium, where he was lucky to share a hug with Shhehei Ohtani and give a deep arch in the field to Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

The K-Pop pose posed for photos in the shelter with the three-time MVP Ohtani, who returned to the mound this season in addition to continuing as the designated batter of the Dodgers, and more photos in the field with the Yamamoto ascent, who helped the team overcome the parents in San Diego on Sunday. Doube even spent a few minutes chatting with the legendary Clayton Kershaw.

It seems that V, Real Name Kim Taehyung, could you be a fan of launching in general?

That is a good thing, if it is true, because the K-Pop star was in Chávez Ravine to deliver the first ceremonial launch before the Dodgers close to the Cincinnati Reds 7-0. BTS fans were definitely there in the crowd to support it.

The seven members of BTS-Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, Jung Kook and V-appeared on social networks in July after a long stop to announce that a new album would arrive in the spring of 2026, now that all completed their mandatory military service of 18 months of Corneania.

The announcer Todd Leitz referred to the “highly anticipated” meeting of the band on the PA Stadium system on Monday. “No more wait now, V. The mound is yours!” said.

Taking the mound, V delivered a strike to Yamamoto, who was crouched as the honorary receiver. The pop star obtained a “Wow, What A Pitch” by Leitz and shouts of fans in the stands.

“He has been in the field for 30 minutes. We finally arrive at Crescendo with the first launch tonight for V of BTS,” a voice is heard in a video that tells the moment.

“Yes, and he splashed a strike, man,” adds another voice. “Well for him. He was here practicing every 13 seconds. We made the crowd go crazy, we don't know why. He is playing captures, throwing in the middle of the left field line. And you put the guy in the mound, he becomes a quite good attack pitcher.”

After the field, V was also able to speak the five legendary words that open each game at home for the children of Azul: “It's time for the Dodger baseball.”

“As of July, the seven will start working closely together in the new music,” the band said in a statement on July 1. “Since it will be a group album, it will reflect the thoughts and ideas of each member. We approach the album with the same mentality we had when we started.”

BTS last launched an album, “Test”, in June 2022 and acted live together later that year in his country of origin. Each member has launched solo material since then, including the song “Seven” by Jung Kook, which headed the Billboard Hot 100 in 2023, and “Right Place, Wrong Person” by RM, which reached No. 5 on the Billboard album list last year.
