British citizens have been warned to avoid traveling to many regions including parts of KP, Balochistan, AJK and Sindh.

The UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has issued a new travel warning for Pakistan, warning “against all travel” to parts of the South Asian country.
The FCDO, which advises British citizens on the risks of traveling to help them make informed decisions, has strictly advised against areas around the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
“The FCDO advises against all travel within 10 miles of the Pakistan-Afghanistan border,” the notice states.
Other areas listed by the FCDO as unsafe for travel include parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

- Karakoram Highway between Mansehra and Chilas via Battagram, Besham City, Dasu and Sazin to the junction with N15
- the N45 highway, from the north of the Mardan ring road, to the edge of the city of Chitral
Balochistan
FCDO advises against all travel to Balochistan province except essential travel to the southern coast of Balochistan, which are:
- area south (included) of the N10 highway
- Section of the N25 from the N10/N25 junction to the Balochistan-Sindh border, including the port city of Gwadar.

FCDO advises against all travel within 10 miles of the Line of Control (LOC), the line of military control between the AJK and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Sindh
“FCDO advises against all but essential travel to all areas of Sindh province north of and including Nawabshah city.”
The FCDO also warned UK citizens that their travel insurance could be “invalided” if they travel against advice.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan has witnessed an alarming rise in terror-related incidents since the Taliban-led administration took control of Afghanistan in 2021.
In the year 2023, as many as 586 terrorist attacks took place, of which 17% were claimed by banned terrorist groups such as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Daesh and others.
Meanwhile, security forces carried out 197 operations against outlaws, leaving between 537 and 545 dead.
According to the Annual Security Report published by the Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), the country witnessed 1,524 deaths and 1,463 injuries in the previous year.
