Travis Kelce reveals how he knew he was falling in love with Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce isn't afraid to share his love story.

Turns out, Taylor Swift's unexpected behavior during the Kansas City Chiefs' game against the Chicago Bears in September tipped the relationship into this-is-the-real-deal territory, she said on the “Bussin' With the Boys” podcast.

Kelce explained that they had already been seeing each other privately but that her attitude toward doing things in public impressed him.

He offered her a security escort to the stadium, but she ignored him and entered with the rest of her guests.

“She really sold me on that,” the tight end said, describing how Swift preferred “to be around family and friends and experience this with everyone” rather than get the celebrity treatment.

“She is very self-aware. And I think that's why I really started to fall in love with her, because of how genuine she is with her friends. [and] family. “It can get crazy for someone with that much attention… and she just keeps him so calm and collected.”

The two have kept the intimate details of their relationship under wraps, but they are notably more public than Taylor was with her previous boyfriends. Her passionate kiss after Kelce's Super Bowl win in February effectively broke the Internet, and he joined her on stage in London over the weekend, bringing the Eras tour to life.

Kelce says she wants to “keep things private,” but “at the same time, I'm not here to hide anything… that's my girl, that's my lady.”

He admitted there have been some downsides to being in the spotlight, particularly random fans showing up at his home in Kansas City, Kansas.

“I've had fun with almost every aspect. The thing is that when you are at home you want privacy and you don't always get it,” she said.

Wild online speculation is another nuisance. The athlete said his father would occasionally come across crazy tabloid stories and call him to verify the facts.

“I would see something so fucking unexpected, like something about Taylor and I, that was like, 'Hey, are you guys okay?'”

Kelce always has a ready response: “Get off Facebook, Dad.”

And for those still wondering, KillaTrav’s favorite TSwift songs are “Black Space,” “Cruel Summer,” and “So High School.”
