The painful rift between Prince William and Prince Harry was exposed on the latter's 40th birthday.
The Duke of Sussex, who has not spoken to the Prince of Wales since his bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, is unwilling to find his way back into the family.
A source revealed: “I don't see a solution. It's been a long time and they haven't found peace. Now their lives are very separate. It's sad.”
The source told The Mirror: “What a difference the years have made. When Harry turned 30, it seemed like nothing could come between him and his brother. Together, they were destined to become the new face of the royal family, injecting much-needed modernisation into The Firm.
“But now, William and Harry aren't even speaking to each other. Before, they always celebrated important events together, but there will be no transatlantic phone call between the two on Harry's big day,” they said.
