Dave Grohl has publicly shared that he fathered a daughter “outside” his marriage to his wife of 21 years, Jordyn Blum, and the reason behind his confession has been revealed by an inside source.
On September 10, Foo Fighters' Dave took to social media to announce that he had cheated on his wife and fathered a child with another woman. He said he would do everything he could to regain the trust of his wife and children.
“I plan to be a loving and understanding father to her,” he said, referring to his newborn daughter. “I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
Following Dave's confession, a close source claimed that the former Nirvana drummer was forced to break his silence because he was afraid the news would get out some other way.
“I was afraid that the mother or someone else would spread the news,” the insider said. In touch. “It's his way of acknowledging that he's made mistakes.”
For those who don't know, Dave Grohl previously admitted to cheating on his first wife, Jennifer Leigh Youngblood, before they eventually divorced in 1997.
