A royal expert has revealed the key reason why Prince Harry did not bring his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to the UK despite pleas from King Charles.
According The express, GB News Royal correspondent Cameron Walker has claimed the Duke of Sussex fears for the safety of his children as he fights for taxpayer-funded security in the UK.
The duke is therefore skeptical of bringing his wife Meghan Markle and their children to their home country amid reports that Charles is longing to see them.
Walker told the publication: “He doesn't feel his family is safe when they are in the UK because he doesn't have police protection officers with him in the Metropolitan Police.
“So maybe that's the main reason why Prince Harry won't bring Meghan, Archie and Lilibet to the UK because he can't guarantee, I would say he can't guarantee their safety,” he added.
This comes amid rumours that Harry is planning a surprise visit to the UK to see his father and older brother Prince William in an effort to heal a years-long feud.
A source said Closer Magazine that Harry is fed up with not being included in key events organised by Buckingham Palace and is thinking of taking a major step.
They said he wants members of the royal family to know that they cannot ignore his existence by not allowing King Charles to meet him or invite him to family events.
“He's saying he's going to blow up and force them to confront him,” the source said. “He's tried the dig-in-his-heels method and give them a taste of their own medicine.”
