ASAP Rocky's latest single Swift Tailor, has caused a stir among Taylor Swift fans, affectionately known as Swifties.
The song, which the rapper first previewed during Rolling Loud Portugal in July 2022, had previously leaked online.
Rocky addressed the situation on X (formerly Twitter), sharing a snippet of the song's music video with the caption “SINCE YOU FOOLS LEAKED IT,” indicating his frustration over the leak.
Swifties reacted strongly to the release, with many accusing the rapper, who shares two children with Rihanna, of using Swift's name for attention.
One user wrote on X: “Rihanna's baby daddy needed Donald Trump to get him out of jail because he was found guilty of assaulting another man who was writing a song based on a woman to get back on the charts.”
Another commented on Rocky's frustration at the leak, saying: “So, don't try to take advantage of Taylor for leverage?
The song Tailor Swift is from the rapper's upcoming album, Don't be stupid.
Although the album's official release date has yet to be confirmed, Rocky has shared that he showed the album to filmmaker Tim Burton, who was reportedly impressed by the work.
