Taylor Swift has upgraded her security presence to 'presidential-level security' for her upcoming show.
Swift is preparing to return for the first time since the cancellation of her three sold-out concerts in Austria and is scheduled to perform five shows between August 15 and 20 at Wembley Stadium in the UK capital.
The concert updates have been obtained by a source close to The sun newspaper, saying: “The safety of Taylor and those around her has always been paramount, but now it is even more so.”
They added: “She and her dancers were told to ‘go into hiding for their own safety’ in view of the threat from Vienna. That is why nothing has been said about the cancelled shows beyond the promoter’s statement.”
According to PeopleThe Metropolitan Police Service also said: “There is nothing to suggest that the matters being investigated by the Austrian authorities will have an impact on future events here in London.”
They highlighted the safety of major events previously held in the city, saying: “A significant number of very high profile events each year with millions of visitors having a safe and enjoyable experience.”
