Cardiff Foodbank chief executive Rachel Biggs said The Guardian the Grammy winner donated to them the largest sum ever made for an individual.
The figure was unknown, but the boss says it was a blessing for his job.
“The respite that Taylor's donation has given us will allow us to lift our heads and shift our focus from the food bank to creating a sustainable operation that supports people who currently need our help with support to address the root cause of poverty and financial support to put them on the path to no longer needing our help,” he said.
The bank boss further added that Taylor's help helps feed “1,200 people with three meals a day, for three days, or 10,800 meals.”
Meanwhile, Cardiff Foodbank praised the Carolina The hitmaker, for her huge donations: “Thank you Taylor Love, Cardiff Foodbank.”
