Stevie Nicks reschedules Glasgow Hydro show after minor surgery

Stevie Nicks recently announced new dates for her performance at Glasgow's Hydro after the original show was postponed.

Initially scheduled for Saturday, July 6, the concert was cancelled just hours before the show.

The reason for the cancellation was that the singer underwent minor surgery for a recent leg injury.

However, an announcement made on Instagram by Gigs in Scotland revealed that the rescheduled gig will now take place on Wednesday 24 July at the same venue.

“RESCHEDULED » The @stevienicks show at @ovohydro, originally scheduled for July 6, will now take place on Wednesday, July 24, 2024!” the announcement read.

Please note that tickets for the original date will remain valid for the new performance.

Despite the setbacks, there is a sense of anticipation and excitement among fans for the upcoming show.

One fan commented: “Yay! (And I'm relieved that Stevie recovered so quickly).”

Another added: “From a Saturday to a Wednesday… great!”
