Sofia Vergara's ex-husband Joe Manganiello has denied her claims that they divorced after a disagreement over the children.
The 47-year-old actor appeared in a recent interview with Men's magazine and addressed Vergara's claims that her marriage had broken up after seven years.

She further explained, “It’s because two people have grown apart, and sometimes that happens,” adding how this false approach has affected the perception of her character.
“To be portrayed as having had some sort of midlife crisis and then nine years later going to someone and giving them an ultimatum: ‘Do this thing that could be harmful to your body or I’m leaving.’ That was never who I was,” Manganiello added.
The couple's divorce was confirmed by People magazine in July 2023.
