Shocking new details have emerged about Kier Sutherland's alleged altercation with a rideshare driver in Hollywood on Monday.
The incident occurred early Monday morning near Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue, where officers were called to reports of an alleged assault involving a rideshare vehicle.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that the suspect was later identified as Sutherland.
Now, TMZ has shared information about the incident, reporting that Sutherland was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill an Uber driver who refused to stop and let him out of the vehicle.
According TMZ Sutherland got into the luxury car and was heading home when it was claimed he asked the driver to “pull over and let him out”.
The actor told police that the driver refused, prompting the actor to ask “twice more” to stop, “to no avail.”
The Uber driver claimed that Sutherland allegedly “threatened to kill him if he didn't stop” and the driver also claimed that Sutherland “assaulted him with his hands,” according to TMZ's report. The driver called 911.
