Shiloh Jolie-Pitt is a “dedicated” dance student, according to her tutor.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE In an interview with Dance & Dance magazine, the 18-year-old's choreographer, Kolanie Marks, praised Shiloh's transformation since the first class.
“He's someone I've worked with for a couple of years,” Marks told the outlet.
The choreographer went on to say that he admires the teenager's commitment “to a craft that is extremely tough.”
“My style is a lot more difficult for a lot of people and that's something she's been trying to figure out,” Mark added.
Speaking about his own work in recent years, he said: “I've been fortunate to have mentored many dancers. Many of the dancers I've coached are now on tour with Chris Brown, Beyoncé and Rihanna.”
“Just knowing what is needed [to succeed in this industry]the consistency [it requires]”And all those things that go into making that happen, I was able to go on to develop it and give it to other people,” Marks continued.
Marks also said he respects Shiloh's privacy. “That's something I don't talk to her about. I keep it very strictly based on what we're interested in, which is dancing.”
