Robert Downey Jr. is known for many fantastic roles, but the actor called Marvel's Iron Man his best character of all time.
In a talk with Literally! With Rob Lowe's PodcastThe Golden Globe winner said: “I felt very exposed after being in the Marvel cocoon, where I think I did some of the best work I'll ever do, but it kind of flew under the radar because of the genre.”
He continued, [I] I did myself a favor, because the rug was definitely pulled out from under me and all the things I relied on as opposed to my understanding of trust and confidence evaporated. And that made me docile.”
