Queen Elizabeth II found great comfort in Kate Middleton and Prince William during her final days.
Her Majesty, who passed away in 2023, became frail and fragile towards the end of her life.
It is now being said that the Queen found immense strength in William and his wife, who ensured that the monarchy was in good hands.
Royal author Robert Jobson writes for MailOnline: “Her health deteriorated rapidly over the next three months.
“She had a terrible struggle with vision loss and found it difficult to even lift a teapot to fill her cup.”
And a source close to the late Queen revealed: “Her Majesty could barely see and simply had no strength.
“He would get extremely frustrated because he hated making a mess by pouring food onto the tray. He would ask for a smaller pot and get frustrated when the staff forgot and brought him the big one.”
Speaking of William and Kate, the expert added: “As her strength waned, she took immense comfort in knowing that the monarchy could be entrusted to the next two generations.”
