The relationship between Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed has been revealed by an insider.
The former Princess of Wales, who was reported to have dated Dodi until his final days, enjoyed a friendly bond with the billionaire heir.
According to the Mirror, Diana and Dodi shared a deep bond: “They used to sit on the floor eating takeaways. She and Dodi were both film mad. He had a wall full of VHS tapes. Any time they had together, they would go there. They would watch TV and hang out like teenagers. In a way, the princess was reclaiming her youth because she had been in the Royal Family for 15 years. People say it was just a summer fling with Dodi, but they had been friends for ten years.”
Meanwhile, Diana's friend Annabel Goldsmith mentioned a telephone conversation with the Princess in 1997.
She told investigators into Diana's death the conversation converter.
She had asked the princess: “You are being sensible, aren’t you? You are not doing anything silly, like getting married, are you?” Diana replied: “Not at all. I am being pampered and having a wonderful time. Annabel, I need marriage like a rash on my face.”
