Prince William's 'company' pushed Harry into 'early temptations'

Prince Harry is revealed to have been introduced to adult temptations very early in his life through Prince William.

The Duke of Sussex hung out with his brother's older friends from Eton back in the day and was drawn to the teenage antics.

Royal author Robert Lacey noted in his book titled 'Battle of Brothers' that Harry began “life and tragedy had turned the brothers into mutually supportive companions. They enjoyed two of the most closely interconnected years of their lives. William had established a close and trusted circle of Eton friends, and his brother was invited to join them.”

“Many of the members of his growing social circle were two years older than he was, so the 14-year-old was likely to be exposed to temptation earlier than would be the case for his age. And Harry's glowing self-confidence was deceptive: he was not as grown-up as he seemed.”

Speaking about his drug addiction, Harry admitted that he was introduced to these substances when he was at Eton.

He said: “I don't remember how we got the material. I guess it was one of my colleagues.”

Harry continued, “Or maybe several. Whenever we found ourselves in possession of something, we commandeered a small bathroom upstairs, where we implemented a surprisingly orderly and well-thought-out assembly line. Smoker would straddle the toilet by the window, the second boy would lean on the sink, the third and fourth would sit in the empty tub, legs dangling, waiting their turn.

“You'd take a hit or two, blow the smoke out the window, then move on to the next station, taking turns, until the joint was gone. Then we'd all go to one of our rooms and laugh ourselves silly watching an episode or two of a new show. Family Guy,” Harry said.
