Prince William speaks out on Kate Middleton's cancer victory

Prince William has shared his reaction to his wife Kate Middleton's victory over cancer.

On Tuesday, William stepped out for the first time after Kate posted an emotional video revealing she had completed her chemotherapy treatment.

The Prince of Wales travelled to Llanelli in South Wales to attend a number of events celebrating Welsh culture and sport.

During his visit, William thanked fans who showed their support for the Princess of Wales, according to Mirror report.

He spoke to one of his supporters, Pauline Thomas, and said: “It's good news, but there's still a long way to go.”

The future King Willem also met students such as ten-year-old Ruby Davies, who won a prize at the festival during his visit.

Ruby gave William a friendship bracelet for his children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, and promised they would wear it.

Kate's deeply personal video shows her with William and their children.

In the video, Kate reflects: “The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as we know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate turbulent waters and uncharted paths.”
