Prince William reacts to Prince Andrew's behaviour towards Kate Middleton

Prince William reportedly holds a grudge against his uncle, Prince Andrew, as the Duke of York was not the most welcoming to Princess Kate, according to a new report.

Royal expert and commentator Richard Kay has claimed that Andrew's behaviour towards Princess Kate could play a role in the Duke's possible eviction from the royal lodge.

The commentator went on to suggest that the uncle and nephew are at odds, adding that the animosity the Prince of Wales feels towards the Duke of York stemmed from how Kate was treated when she was introduced to the royal family.

Richard Kay, speaking with Online mailHe explained that William “has a long-standing grudge” against Andrew and believes Charles has been “too soft” on him.

The author wrote: “Differences between the monarch and the heir persist, especially when it comes to the Prince Andrew scandal.”

The expert also revealed what William thinks of his uncle, stating: “William has long held a grudge against Andrew for not being welcoming when he first introduced the then Kate Middleton to the Royal Family and feels his father has been too soft on him. This has led to speculation that it is William who is putting pressure on his father to evict the Duke of York from Royal Lodge, so that the Waleses can move in.”

Explaining William's reaction to Andrew due to the Duke's hostile behaviour towards Kate, the expert suggested the heir to the throne could put pressure on his father, King Charles, to remove Andrew from the Royal Lodge altogether.

“For King Charles, forcing Andrew to move to Frogmore solves several problems at once: it sends a message to Harry that, as a private citizen and no longer a working royal, he will never be allowed back to Frogmore,” royal writer and commentator Tom Quinn told The Associated Press. Mirror.
