Prince William reportedly has the final say on all matters involving Kate Middleton, especially her public outings.
A royal butler who spent many years in the service of Buckingham Palace has made these admissions and claims.
According to OK magazine, Burell said that while Kate “knows the world will want to see her,” William is “fiercely protective” and “will decide whether she is fit enough” to return to the spotlight.
The former employee also revealed some shocking insights, saying: “William controls this house and William will decide if she is well enough to do this because he is the one who protects the family, fiercely.”
Ultimately, “there's no way he's going to subject Kate to an intrusion that she can't handle. He's very protective.”
And “with William by her side, Kate is safe because he will take care of her and will never let anyone hurt her.”
“I think she trusts William completely and that he has the final say,” Burell also admitted.
Before signing off, he also expressed his excitement at Kate's appearance at Wimbledon, but made it clear that “we are hopeful that The Princess of Wales will be able to present the trophies as patron of the Club, but her health and recovery are the priority.”
