Prince Harry's shocking statement about royal return resurfaces ahead of UK visit

Prince Harry is expected to make a royal comeback as reports claim the Duke of Sussex is set to take on temporary duties to help his cancer-stricken father King Charles.

Speculation about Harry's reunion with the royal family gained momentum as King Charles, Prince William and the rest of the family members officially celebrated his 40th birthday.

This was further fuelled by Harry's announcement that he would soon be returning to his home country to attend the WellChild Awards, rekindling hopes of a reunion with Charles.

However, a Prince Harry interview from 2023 has resurfaced, in which he gave a blunt and heated response when asked about a possible return to royal duties.

While promoting her explosive memoir, ReplacementThe Duke of Sussex appeared in Good morning America in January 2023.

During the interview, the rebel royal was asked if he and his wife, Meghan Markle, would return to the royal family as senior working royals.

“No,” the Duke replied unexpectedly, adding, “I do not think that will ever be possible.”

“Even if there is an agreement or an arrangement between me and my family, there is a third party who will do everything they can to make sure that is not possible,” Prince Harry added.

“They don't stop us from returning, but they do make it unbearable,” he added.
