Prince Harry was forced to say “more and more” in 'Spare'


Prince Harry was reportedly pressured by his ghostwriter to write shocking details in his book.

The Duke of Sussex, who published his memoir 'Spare' in 2023, revealed explosive details about his life in the Royal Family.

The Duke is not known to have been persuaded to include such incidents in his book. Royal author Marina Hyde recounts The rest is entertainment that JR Moehinger wanted Harry to be his business elf.

“The best ghostwriters and clearly what happened with Moehringer, who did some interviews after he had done Spare, he said he really pushed Prince Harry to say more and more about certain things.”

Ms Hyde added: “Right at the end, when you’ve built up a long time of talking to someone, maybe in their home for many, many hours over a few months, that person comes back and there’s a kind of dump of all the really intense personal material that’s going to be the part that’s going to be all over the headlines and gets cut from the serialisations.”
