The resurfaced photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has been branded a blunder by a body language expert.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who posed for a photograph in the Sunken Gardens of Kensington Palace on November 27, 2017, showed a “defensive” manner in front of the cameras.
Expert Kinsey Nicholl tells Kinsey Schofield on her podcast: “It's like he's making that physical connection. He's introducing her to the world for the first time, because he's been keeping her a secret.
“I still think one of his biggest mistakes was never introducing her to us, the press, and allowing that connection to be forged.
She continues: “Yes, there is a protective attitude and also a defensive attitude. It's like, 'She's mine. I'm introducing you to her, but don't touch.'”
Prince Harry left the royal family in 2020 along with his wife Meghan Markle and their son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the royal family of showing racism towards their son and publicly shared their complaints on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
