Prince Harry takes Meghan Markle to the ESPYs and gets a thumbs up from Serena Williams

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to accept a special award.

The Duke of Sussex graced the carpet at the 2024 ESPY Awards as he prepared to accept the Pat Tillman Award for his services to sports.

He was joined by Meghan in an elegant white dress as she walked the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on July 11.

The event was hosted by tennis star Serena Williams, who called the couple “royalty.”

Williams said: “OK, I only get to be in a room with royals very often, and tonight is no exception. Prince Harry and Meghan are here. Let's applaud them.”

“But please, Harry and Meghan, try not to breathe too much tonight,” she continued. “Because this is my night and I don't want to be overshadowed by accusations that you're consuming too much oxygen, OK?” she joked.

Prince Harry left the royal family in 2020 along with his wife Meghan Markle and their son, Prince Archie. The couple subsequently accused the royal family of displaying racism towards their son and publicly shared their grievances on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
