Prince Harry stole the show at the One805Live! charity event in Santa Barbara by ditching his wife, Meghan Markle, for a solo appearance amid rumors of marital problems.
The Duke of Sussex appeared in his element as he presented an award to a fellow helicopter pilot and mingled with celebrities at the event.
Analysing his body language, expert Judi James noted Harry's confident and enthusiastic demeanour, saying he is “totally in his element”.
“Harry's body language here suggests he is totally in his element and delighted to soak up or even surf the on-stage adulation from the front-row audience like a star of the show,” he said. The mirror.
“His open jacket, his cheerful, beaming smile towards the audience and that cheeky, knowing thumbs-up gesture suggest he is in full exhibitionism mode, like some of his 'rock star' style appearances on stage when he first arrived in the US,” the expert added.
“While the two award winners stand together and appear undecided, Harry is completely open, reaching out to grab a man by the shoulder in a very casual display of appreciation.”
She went on to point out how Harry seemed “uncomfortable” when he attended the event last year with Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.
“In 2023, Harry and Meghan were seen at this event in a series of awkward-looking poses on Harry's part and a tricky moment with the microphone on Meghan's part, but this year their status and level of involvement are clearer and their microphone handling much more adept.”
