Prince Harry reportedly drowned himself in alcohol and cigarettes before meeting Meghan Markle.
The Duke of Sussex, who married Meghan in 2018, met the 'Suits' star in London.
Journalist Katie Couric in her memoirs has spoken exclusively about the father of two, noting that Prince Harry “stinked of cigarettes and alcohol” when she met him.
He added that the duke was in his “wild oats sowing phase” and alcohol and cigarettes were “oozing from every pore.”
This comes as Meghan Markle has joined the South by Southwest Festival lineup, where she will attend the keynote address on Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead On and Off Screen with Katie.
The panel will discuss “how the ubiquitous nature of social media is creating an often dangerous environment that has led to serious mental health issues for teenage girls in particular,” according to the festival description. The ad also addressed how the representation of women in media and entertainment “has come a long way, but there is still a lot of work to be done, especially for women of color and mothers.”
