Prince Harry 'cautious' over Meghan needing support during interview

Prince Harry's lack of support for Meghan Markle during a new interview has been highlighted by a body language expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had a candid interview about online bullying with CBS Sunday Morning.

In the interview, Meghan spoke about her own struggles with online bullying and mental health issues.

Body language expert Judi James analyzed the couple's body language during the interview and pointed out one instance where Meghan made a subtle gesture to ask for her husband's support.

“The clip of her infamous interview with Oprah is shown, then in the actual interview we see the dynamic change in Meghan’s body language,” Judi said. Sun.

“The kind, polite smile with closed lips is still present, but the expression in his eyes suddenly seems gloomy,” he noted.

“Her hand rests on Harry's knee as if asking for support or gaining strength from that tactile reminder of her presence,” she continued.

Explaining Harry's response, Judi said: “Harry's response seems cautious and he's staying relatively quiet here.”

“His hand does not grasp hers in a reciprocal gesture, but rather he performs an anxiety-induced rubbing of fingers and thumb in his own handshake,” he continued.

“His head is tilted in another wary expression and when Meghan speaks, he watches her face intently,” she added.
