Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have threatened Prince William and Kate Middleton's future in the royal family following their successful trip to Nigeria.
William, Prince of Wales, was surprised by the Sussexes after his 'fake royal' tour to Nigeria was a success, as he believes he cannot complete it with them in Kate's absence.
According to a recent report by Mirror, The Prince and Princess of Wales are “terrified” that Harry and Meghan will become the “public face of the royal family.”
With Kate battling an undisclosed form of cancer, William is unable to travel internationally and this gives the Sussexes a golden opportunity to shine.
Speaking on the issue, Tom Quinn said: “The royals, especially William and Kate, are terrified of one thing above all others: that Harry and Meghan will continue to organize trips around the world until they are seen as the public face of the royal family.”
“The fear gets worse because William knows that with his wife sick with cancer he can't compete and he can't stop Meghan and Harry's rollercoaster ride,” he added.
He also revealed that not only William but also King Charles were upset after Harry and Meghan were treated like royals during their tour of Nigeria.
“What's really upsetting is the fact that Nigerians treated Meghan and Harry as if they too thought it was an official tour,” he explained.
