Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegedly underestimated Hollywood, says expert
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex failed to understand what it takes to live the American dream and developed “cracks” in their own system.
Royal historian Hugo Vickers told The Sun: “I think there have always been a certain number of cracks developing.
“Obviously they had a pretty good time at first, but the problem is that it's very, very difficult to deal with this competitive, high-energy world they live in now.
“I'm sure she had some experience in this area. I'm not sure how much experience Prince Harry had in this regard.”
Her comments come after a senior source revealed that Meghan Markle “terrorised” the staff around her.
He says: “I'm sure it's one of those situations where, probably, when things are going well they're very generous… and they remember your birthdays, and they send you little gifts and all that kind of stuff, but the moment things get stressful, that's when you see the real side.
Mr Vickers adds: “I'm afraid I'm rather thinking he's a difficult person, and it's not a good sign that if you can't get on with your staff, you know you're in trouble.”
