Prince Andrew's loneliness and “non-stop conversations” with strangers revealed

Prince Andrew's lavish lifestyle has been revealed by a source close to the royal family.

The Duke of York, who lives in the 30-room Royal Lodge, craves company and attention.

A source close to the royals said: “We would see him going up to the stables to ride and he would talk non-stop to the grooms and they would rarely respond to him. You wondered what they got out of it.”

It is also revealed that Andrew greatly enjoys being with his dogs, especially the corgis he adopted from Queen Elizabeth II.

Speaking to celebrity magazine Us Weekly, his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson had this to say about Andrew’s routine with his dogs: “I have seven dogs and two of them are corgis… five of them are Norfolk terriers,” Fergie told celebrity magazine Us Weekly in May. “They’re all very adorable and very, very loved.”

This comes as Andrew refuses to leave the Royal Lodge as King Charles pressures him to slowly disappear from public view.

A source told the Daily Mail: “A source told the publication: 'It could then be rented out to make money for them, the King's coffers and the country rather than being a drain on everyone's resources.'”
