Prince Andrew's 'arrogance' is his biggest enemy in survival

Prince Andrew holds on to the last costs of his royal life before it falls apart.

The Duke of York is reportedly adamant about keeping his abode in Windsor and insists he has the resources to maintain the 30-bedroom mansion.

Royal expert Abigail Wilson says: “There are reports that Andrew's benefactor could be someone he met during his time as a UK trade envoy, where the duke also had a penchant for friends of what might be called questionable character.”

It continues for The Sun: “To add to his pressures, Andrew also has to safeguard numerous historic and priceless works of art and furniture on loan from the Royal Collection.”

Meanwhile, royal commentator Rupert Bell said: “[Andrew] You feel like you lost everything and if you lose your home, then you probably feel like even more has been taken from you.

“One of the problems that Prince Andrew has is that sometimes he is convinced that he is right and he gets into trouble with his stubbornness and, sometimes, his own arrogance that has led him to create these problems,” he points out.
