Patrick Mahomes' mother, Randi Martin, just expressed how fame has taken over her life.
As she appeared as a guest on The Mom Game Podcast, The mother of three opened up about how she faced many of the downsides of fame that come with having a son who is a three-time Super Bowl champion.
“While I say we're blessed and Patrick is living his dream, it's been the hardest seven years of my adult life,” the 48-year-old said of her eldest son, Patrick Mahomes.
As her son rose to stardom, she admitted that fame came with criticism and “hate” from people online, which whenever directed at her children, would make her cry at night.
“I see some of my friends on social media… and I feel envious that they have this normal attitude. [life],” she added.
Randi continued: “Their children are the same age as Patrick and Jackson and they live in a normal situation, while we don't. It's very difficult.”
Patrick Mahomes' mother, Randi, is also the mother of son Jackson, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Mahomes, and a 12-year-old daughter, Mia, from another relationship.
