Ozzy Osbourne issues new statement following Britney Spears' wild comeback

The feud between the Osbourne family and Britney Spears has escalated with recent backlash.

This time, it's Ozzy Osbourne, 72, who previously provoked Britney Spears by expressing his disapproval of how the Toxic The 42-year-old singer is behaving like a charm on social media.

The Osbourne family boss formally issued an apology to Spears on a recent episode of The Osbourne podcast, except that the Black Sabbath Rocker didn't really apologize.

“I'm really sorry I made that comment,” Ozzy said. “However, you'd be better off not doing the same damn dance every day. Change up some moves.”

Her daughter Kelly, 39, chimed in: “Okay, I wanted to tell you Britney, never stop dancing. I love your dancing. It makes you so happy and I'm sorry if we offended you.”

“Listen, I really like Britney,” added Ozzy's wife Sharon, 71.

“I love Britney Spears, but it's the same dance every day,” Ozzy protested.

“No, sometimes he has knives,” joked Kelly, 39.

“I truly apologize,” Ozzy added. “I love you and I think you're beautiful.”

There is unlikely to be a response soon from Spears, as she recently deactivated her Instagram following a clash with her family over wedding invitations.
