Offset is recovering after he was shot in Florida earlier this week.
The former Migos rapper shared a statement on Instagram saying he was in “good” condition but “planned to be better.”
“I'm focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to music… realizing that life is made up of quiet victories and loud defeats,” he wrote.
He continued: “Life is a gamble and I still play to win.”
A spokesperson for Offset told the Associated Press on Friday that he had been released from the hospital.
Offset was shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on Monday night following a fight. Two people were arrested in connection with the incident and an investigation was underway, the Seminole Police Department told The Times earlier this week.
Tione Jayden Merritt, known professionally as Lil Tjay, was one of the people arrested in connection with Monday's incident, the police department told The Times. The rapper's apparent lawyer denied on Instagram that he was involved in the shooting.
