Nick Carter's demand: The supposedly raped singer gave the HPV

Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, already demanded by three women who allege sexual assault, faces a new rape claim.

A fourth woman has presented disturbing accusations about the 45 -year -old pop star, including claims that she violated her twice in 2005 and infected her with sexually transmitted diseases, one of which led to a diagnosis of cervical cancer. The accuser, Lauren Penly, filed her claim earlier this month at Clark County, Nev. According to the lawsuit, reviewed by The Times, Penly said she and Carter participated in a brief “sexually intimate” relationship from December 2004 to February 2005, when he was 19 years old.

Penly sued Carter for three positions: sexual assault, intentional infiction of emotional anguish and negligent infliction of emotional anguish. Find at least $ 15,000 that cover “past and future medical expenses” and “pain and suffering”, in addition to legal fees and additional damage. She is requesting a jury trial.

“A deep courage and resilience are needed so that survivors of sexual assault are publicly presented in search of justice, particularly in the music industry that has long fostered a generalized environment of sexual exploitation,” lawyer Gianna N. Elliot, who represents Penly, in a statement to the times, said on Wednesday.

A legal representative of Carter did not immediately respond to the request for comments from the Times on Wednesday, but denied Penly's accusations in a statement shared with several points of sale. The singer's legal team said Carter does not “remember even having met” his last accuser, much less participate in any relationship with her.

During his alleged relationship of months, Penly visited Carter (older brother of the teenage sensation Aaron Carter) in Los Angeles in his department and dedicated themselves to sex agreed three times, according to the 10 -page complaint. Penly, who said she had never had unprotected sex before her relationship with Carter, claimed that the singer refused to use any form of protection and led her to “believe that he was” clean “of sexual diseases.”

According to the demand, Carter raped Penly for the first time in early 2005. Penly said it went to Carter's apartment and asked to watch a movie and “Hangout” instead of having sex, but the singer refused. Supposedly “he told him not because the only reason he was there was to have sex and that is what she wants,” says the demand. Carter supposedly picked up his accuser and “threw her into his bed”, where he inclined her on the side of the bed and “strongly” raped her vaginally, despite the fact that she “said 'no' several times.”

The complaint states that Carter told Penly to keep his sexual assault secret and that no one would believe him. “

Two months after the alleged incident, Carter apologized to Penly and asked him to visit him in his department. Upon his arrival, Carter was with two friends, whom he said “what would return” while driving Penly to his room, says the demand. Penly told Carter, according to the demand, that she did not want to have sex, but that the singer supposedly proceeded to “strongly” penetrate her. “Carter continued to know participating in sexual relations with [Penly] Despite your repeated rejections and requests to stop, ”says the demand.

Penly accused Carter of infecting her with “several sexually transmitted diseases,” including human papilloma (HPV), which she led to her diagnosis of cervical cancer.

In July 2005, Penly learned of his doctor who had tested positive for clamidia and gonorrhea, says the demand. He also positive for cancer cells, says the demand. The Mayo Clinic says that some types of HPV infections can cause different types of cancer, including cervical cancer. A month after postponing positive for STDs, Penly was diagnosed with cervical cancer in stage 2 and underwent numerous treatments, including an invasive cervical procedure, says the demand.

Penly also alleges in her demand that faces the “continuous harassment” of Backstreet Boys fans after they called her to testify in a deposit that involves other women who accused Carter of sexual abuse.

“The impacts of Carter's sexual aggressions are incessant, which causes severe emotional anguish of the plaintiff, physical anguish, medical problems, intimacy problems and other complex trauma,” says the demand.

Claims in Penly's demand echo accusations raised in a series of demands in recent years. In 2022, a woman filed a civil lawsuit against Backstreet Boys interpreter, claiming that she had sexually assaulted her when she was 17 years old and infected her with HPV. Another woman filed similar accusations in a lawsuit filed in August 2023. Carter was also sued in 2017 by a Girl Group Dream singer who claimed that he violated her in the early 2000s. The trio of accusers advertised her accusations in the docuseries of 2024 “Fallen idols: Nick and Aaron Carter”.

In a statement, the legal representatives of Nick Carter, Liane K. Wakayama and Dale Hayes Jr., dismissed the statements as “more of the same nonsense of the conspirators gang and their lawyers who continue to abuse the justice system to try to ruin Nick Carter,” according to people.

The lawyers added: “It is extracted from the same predictable play book: they go to bed for decades until Mr. Carter celebrates a professional milestone, then hides behind the privilege of litigation to make completely false statements in an attempt to inflict the maximum damage to Nick and his family.”

Penly filed his demand when Carter promotes new music and appears in the new Paramount+ two parts “The Carters: Hurts To Love You”, which premiered on Tuesday. The Backstreet Boys will also begin a residence in the Las Vegas sphere in July.
