Naomi Ackie, who plays a lead role in Zoë Kravitz's directorial debut, Blink Twice, had a very strange reaction to meeting Lenny Kravitz for the first time.
When Zoë brought her legendary father on set, Ackie got so nervous that she slammed the door of her trailer in his face.
One morning on the set of the film in Mexico, Ackie opened the door to find the rocking chair nearby.
She recalled the hilarious incident with laughter, saying: People“I had never met him before. I opened my bedroom door and Lenny was there. He said, ‘Hi, you must be Naomi. I’m Lenny.’ I said, ‘I closed the door.’
The actress took a breath to compose herself and then said, “Okay, I’m ready now,” and opened the door to greet the musician.
Zoë, whose fiancé Channing Tatum stars alongside Ackie, joked that Ackie should have asked her dad: “So why are you outside my door?”
He Big little lies The star's mother, Lisa Bonet, 56, also visited the set and stayed for a few weeks.
“We had a scene that’s not in the movie, with a butterfly. And then we had extra butterflies, so my mom and I took the butterflies and set them free,” she recalled. “And my mom, being the amazing person that she is, the butterfly just got on her face and wouldn’t go away.”
“I have a picture of her eating fries with the butterfly. I have a video of her brushing her teeth with the butterfly,” she shared.
