Meghan Markle dreamed of a fairy tale when she imagined her life as a princess, it has been revealed.
The Duchess of Sussex, who married Prince Harry in 2018, wanted a life full of glitz because she could hardly imagine the magnanimity of duty, an expert says.
Royal author Mark Borkowski told The Sun's royal editor Matt Wilkinson: “If you look back, there was so much positivity – they were called the Fab Four with Kate and William – but that's because, whatever your thoughts on duties, there's a pecking order in the royal family.”
She added: “They are not fit to fill that very important role. Meghan saw him more as a Disney princess than a dutiful royal.”
“This isn't about tiaras, or ballrooms, or celebrities, or grand state openings. This is about opening a civic centre on a cold, wet Saturday afternoon in Kettering.”
“It's a job and I think that was the first thing that fell apart,” the expert said.
