Meghan Markle holds secret 'dinner parties' while staying under the radar with her friends

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle don't rub shoulders with Hollywood's biggest celebrities for a reason.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are happy to be with low-key stars and have made a conscious decision to be discreet.

Speaking to Vanity Fair's Dynasty: The Royal Family's Most Challenging Year podcast, royal expert Katie Nicholl explained: “Personally, I have to say I've been a little disappointed with the celebrities who have [Harry and Meghan] I've been hanging out with him. Don't get me wrong, I love Kevin Costner, he's fabulous, but I thought they would be a lot more A-list related.

Katie added: “I thought we would see a lot more of them with Oprah. [Winfrey]and Gwyneth [Paltrow]and those kinds of people, and they haven't been there.”

She then speculated: “Maybe that's all part of their desire to live a little bit more of a low-key life, not ending up in photographs, not ending up in all the celebrity magazines, and in fact, in Montecito, they can do that. I'm sure there are a lot of VIP dinners that go on at their house that we have no idea about.”
