Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been accused of fabricating false concerns about safety in the UK to hide the real reason the Duchess does not want to visit the country.
The Duke of Sussex recently told Rebecca Barry in the ITV documentary Tabloids on trial who will not bring Meghan to the UK over security concerns.
“It's still dangerous and all it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this and acts on it,” he said.
“Whether it's a knife or acid, whatever it is, these are things that really worry me. It's one of the reasons I won't be bringing my wife back to this country,” Harry added.
Following the release of the documentary, a royal expert criticised the father of two for his “bogus” reason for not bringing Meghan to the UK and said the former Suits The star is “British-phobic”
Talking with GB News, Royal commentator Rafe Heydel-Mankoo said the real reason Meghan is not coming to the UK is fear of a cold reception.
“It's not about knives or acid. It's about Meghan's fear of being booed,” the expert said. “I don't think she really likes this country because of all the negative associations she has with it from living here.”
“I don't think she ever quite fit in here in this country anyway,” Rafe said. “Harry should have taken his grandchildren to see their father after his cancer diagnosis – he's only seen Lilibet once. Archie, only a few times.”
