Matthew Perry's ex-girlfriend insists authorities should reopen the investigation into his death.
Kayti Edwards, who was also the Friends former student assistant, told Mirror that she is concerned about the cause of death listed on it, as she had a history of “having dishonest medical staff” on her payroll.
His comment comes after Matthew died in October 2023 after succumbing to the “acute effects” of ketamine, according to the Los Angeles Police Department autopsy report.
The actor's ex, 47, who believes the findings don't add up, told the outlet: “It needs to be looked at again. I know that when Matthew was taking between 40 and 50 Vicodin a day, he received it from a nurse who took him to his house.”
She continued: “He had a way of letting people do things for him, saying, 'I'll give you this amount of money if you keep your mouth shut and get me this.'”
Ahead of this Sunday's Oscars, Kayti also requested that the ceremony honor the late actor in some way during the coveted In Memoriam section.
“I know it would mean a lot to him to be honored in some way at the Oscars,” she said.
