The cause of immediate death of the scene actor and screen of Linda Linda Linda has been revealed.
The death certificate of the “Alice” star, obtained and published online on Monday by TMZ, said his immediate cause of death was the cardiopulmonary arrest due to his underlying lung cancer. The cardiopulmonary arrest, which is also known as cardiac arrest, occurs when the heart stops beating effectively and prevents blood from circulating through the body, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Confirming his death at the end of December, his representative, Bill Veloric, said that the 87 -year -old woman died in Los Angeles after recently discovered lung cancer complications. Lavin's death certificate said it was not known how long lived with lung cancer.
The document, issued by the Department of Public Health of the County of the Angles, confirmed that Lavin died on December 29 at his home in Malibu. On December 19, the actor had undergone a bronchoscopy, a procedure that allows doctors to examine the airways in the lungs. She was cremated in January and her remains were delivered to her husband, Steve Bakunas, according to the document.
In addition to his leading role nominated for Emmy in “Alice”, the adaptation of the 1976 CBS comedy of “Alice no longer lives here” by Martin Scorsese who worked for nine seasons, Lavin was a winner of the Tony award. He won the Best Actress Award in a “Broadway Boundway” play by Neil Simon in 1987 and scored five other Tony nominations during his Broadway career. The actor also appeared on the small screen in “The OC”, “The Sopranos”, “9jkl”, “Santa Clarita diet” and “Sean Saves The World”.
More recently, Lavin appeared in the comedy of CBS “B Positive”, the 2021 movie “Be The Ricardos” and the Netflix series “No Good Deed”. At the time of his death, he was filming the next Hulu series “Mid-Century Modern”.
