Finally, the long-awaited first look at Liam Hemsworth as The Wizard revealed in which the Australian actor looked eerily similar to his predecessor.
The showrunner of the Netflix series, Lauren S. Hissrich, spoke about him. E.W.“His look has been in development for over a year, so it's exciting to finally share an official sneak peek at Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia.”
She continued: “Both the cast and crew were blown away by the passion, energy and embodiment that Liam has brought to the character from day 1 – scruffy beard, iconic scar and all! We're having a lot of fun filming season 4 and we are excited to welcome fans on this journey with us.”
Henry Cavill was previously directing the fantasy character, but opted out of 2022, leading to Liam taking his place.
Meanwhile, the streamer did not announce the release date of the fourth season, but confirmed that the show will end in the fifth season.
